Enniscrone Links is sculpted from the natural dunes that form the peninsular spit that juts out in the scenic Killala Bay beside a 5km “Blue Flag” beach to the North and the salmon filled River Moy Estuary to the South – it is truly picturesque. Scenery aside, this is a true test of golf with – tight fair ways and challenging greens make it most memorable and justifies it place in the Top 100 Courses by Golf World.

Rosses Point Links is steeped in history – founded in the late 18th Centaury by a relation of poet W.B. Yeats, it has stood the test of time. Tee boxes and greens are pristine and hold testing fairways in between. When you sink that putt you can marvel at the splendour of the imposing Ben Bulben Mountain and or the Atlantic waves on the beach below. This course was once described by Peter Allis “as a tremendous test for the highest quality player and great fun for the modern competitor.”

Carne is located in the Iorrais peninsula – almost the furthest point West in Mayo. This course is set in magnificent sand dunes that offer shelter form the Atlantic. This course is a real jewel, a challenge for the proficient golf and forgiving for all others. The landscape is breathtaking and tranquil – not to be missed.

Located on the outskirts of Ballina town, this is a lovely parkland course with scenic views of the Ox mountain to the left and Nephin mountain on the right. The use of water hazards and bunkers make this course a challenge – a must to play when in Ballina.
