LUXURIOUS GUEST ROOMS

All of our hotel rooms offer understated, beautiful and contemporary design, created with luxury and comfort in mind. It is our aim to make you want to come back to stay again and we are confident that you will want to stay on longer than you originally planned! Each beautifully designed guest room is air conditioned and offers a hospitality tray, hairdryer, fridge, plasma TV and full internet access. Luxurious spacious 4 piece bathrooms are situated in each room and we have 2 guest rooms suitable for disabled guests.

EXECUTIVE ROOMS

As with the facilities in our Classic Rooms, you can also expect king size bed, bathrobe and slippers, luxury toiletries, complimentary bottled water and stunning views overlooking the championship 18 hole Old Course.

DELUXE ROOMS

As with the Executive Room above, some guest rooms are available with additional lounge area and sofa, some with 2 flat screen TVs, 2 person bath, super king size deluxe bed.  All Deluxe Rooms include chocolates, nibbles and complimentary bottled water. The majority of rooms enjoy views overlooking the Championship Old Course.

The hotel’s 2 restaurants enjoy an enviable reputation for excellent cuisine and fine dining. Each of our hotel restaurants has their own style and atmosphere, but unite in sourcing local fresh produce and creating memorable dishes in fantastic surroundings for your enjoyment.

Our award winning Head Chef, Phil Roberts and his team are passionate about using local, fresh ingredients and consider this in all the menu creations for both restaurants.

The Java Lounge, located just off the hotel’s Reception area offers a great vantage point to watch the world go by, read a newspaper and enjoy a light snack and a glass of wine or a freshly baked cookie and cappuccino.

At the 19th Hole eating & drinking is all about relaxing and enjoying yourself.

With fabulous views overlooking the golf course, the 19th Hole is the perfect Restaurant & Bar to chill out and unwind. In summer, tables spill out onto a spacious al fresco terrace.

The menu includes light, healthy, hearty and seasonal dishes, showcasing the finest local ingredients.

Formby Hall 19th Hole Restaurant & Bar is perfect whether you are dropping in for a small bite, a quick business lunch or a comfortable and indulgent evening of quality cuisine and wines.

The atmosphere is never overly formal, though we of course maintain the high level of professional, efficient and friendly attention.

THE JAVA LOUNGE

The Java Lounge serves a range of illy coffee, cakes and light bites in a pleasant and relaxing environment.

It’s an ideal stopping point to pause, enjoy an illy Latte and freshly baked cookie while letting the world pass you by. Whether you have just arrived at the Resort, waiting to head out onto one of our golf courses or just meeting friends for a catch up – it’s got something for all.

It’s not just coffee either – Java also serves a range of cold drinks, beers, wines and spirits as well as light bites. From freshly made sandwiches and Panini’s, cakes or granola bars there is something to tempt everyone.

The picturesque PAR 72 Old Course surrounds the hotel and poses a challenge for every level of golfer with 18 memorable holes. Combine that with the must-play unique PAR 3 9 hole links course, described as one of the best in the country, and you have an ultimate blend of courses anywhere along England’s Golf Coast.

The hotel’s PGA Golf Academy practice facilities include a 26 bay driving range and dedicated short game area featuring 5 greens and 7 bunkers. The Academy is also home to some of the region’s most experienced PGA Golf Instructors who combine a modern day teaching philosophy with cutting edge swing analysis technology to provide the ideal learning centre.
