You don’t have to join our golf membership to enjoy a round of golf at Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa, we welcome visitors to both our courses, the 18 hole course known as The Old Course and our links style 9 hole Woodhey Dunes Course.

For those of you doing a bit of site seeing around Liverpool and Southport, you can fit in a round of golf with our Golf Days and Golf Breaks with a stopover in one of our 62 bedrooms within the 4* luxury hotel.

CHAMPIONSHIP OLD COURSE

The Old Course offers a challenge to golfers of every level, measuring over 7,000 yards off the blue tees and 6,500 of the yellows. The tightly mown turf provides a consistent playing surface all year round, draining well in the winter months. Links style pot bunkers, wooded areas and water hazards provide definition and character to a course that has hosted the European Seniors, Challenge Tour and Euro-Pro Tours.
