At the core of our identity are two elements deeply embedded in Portuguese culture: Music and Wine. But here, we don’t limit music to Fado. At Once Upon Lisboa, every room is a celebration of encounters — between tradition and modernity, Portugal and the world, comfort and character.

Set across four floors of a restored historic building in the heart of the city, our 17 rooms and suites combine original architectural features with contemporary design. From African textures to Asian motifs, each space tells a story — much like the wines we proudly serve and the music that fills our soul.

All rooms are double or twin (except the Deluxe, which is double only) and do not accommodate extra beds. A lift is available and stops between floors.

Superior Rooms

Deluxe Premium Rooms

Deluxe Rooms

Located on the top floor, our Deluxe Room is designed for indulgence. A freestanding bathtub inside the room sets the tone for slow mornings and romantic evenings, while the separate bathroom with rain shower ensures maximum comfort. Double only.

Suites

More than a room — a place to stay, cook, relax and savour Lisbon. Our top-floor Suite offers an open-plan space with a living area and kitchenette island, ideal for longer stays or guests who want to blend independence with elegance. Double bed only.

Each unit features a fully equipped kitchen, bright and generous interiors, contemporary finishes and modern amenities such as air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. But Once Upon a Bakery is not only for those staying with us. Open to the public, it also welcomes locals and travellers passing through, offering a relaxed atmosphere where anyone can step inside and enjoy a taste of Once Upon Lisboa.
