Two AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence
The Bar at Ducks Inn is an East Lothian favourite packed with memorabilia collected by Malcolm over the years.

It’s a traditional Scottish pub serving Real Ales, a great collection of Malt Whiskies, a good selection of wines or cocktails and Cuban cigars from the five foot high humidor.

Alin makes a mean G&T in his gold fish bowls!  We even have our world renowned North Berwick Gin on our door step (tours available).  Alin balances the gin, fruit, tonic and ice to produce a very satisfying and refreshing drink.  We use Fever Tree and Schweppes tonic.

Though most of the food is served in the restaurant we have a great selection of John Paul’s Tapas and it is possible to eat your Port Seton fish and chips, Gosford Bothy burger or John Gilmour 35 day aged steak in the bar or watching the golf or rugby on Sky in the TV area.

Voted runner up in the Lothian Real Ale Quality Awards the Bar at Ducks Inn a hidden gem.  The Real Ale is very well kept and you’ll always find something different on the taps, the local Knops from Archerfield is regularly represented.

Ducks Inn is a Partner Bar with the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) and, together with their selection, has just under one hundred whiskies on the shelf.  We are happy to do whisky tastings and organise visits to Glenkinchie our local distillery just 12 miles away.

The bar interior is not modern but it oozes memories. There are bar stools, cosy corners, brass coat hooks and the legendary putting games.

You wouldn’t believe who we have had standing on the bar stool trying to make the Putting Duck; Ryder Cup Captains, rugby and British Lion legends, baseball Hall Of Famers, Captains of industry… many with their names memorialised on the wall!
