Located on over a mile of sandy beach along the coast of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Cabot Links is Canada’s first and only authentic links golf resort. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the picturesque town of Inverness, the Cabot Links course represents a dramatic departure from the typical golf excursion. With six holes playing directly alongside the water and every hole offering an ocean view, Cabot Links is where traditional linksland golf comes to life against the spectacular Nova Scotia landscape.
The Cabot Cliffs course, designed by the decorated team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, is the newest addition to Cabot. Exquisitely carved out of the breathtaking Cape Breton landscape, with postcard worthy panoramas vying for your attention and every hole calling out to the sea, this is linksland golf at its best. Built by dreamers, for dreamers. The official Grand Opening is slated for June of 2016 but with preview play in 2015 it has already proven it provides an incredible golf experience, through coastal dunes and high atop the ocean-side cliffs. Cabot Cliffs made its debut in the Golf Digest World Top 100 Courses at #19.
Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs are walking-only courses, a style of play that heightens the experience of the game, connecting the golfer with the landscape and inviting creativity into every shot.

Designed by award-winning Nova Scotia architect, Susan Fitzgerald and celebrated interior designer, Alexandra Angle, the 72-room Cabot Links Lodge is inspired by its surroundings. The building incorporates local materials, such as cedar and heavy timber, which combined with a timeless and modern aesthetic are the epitome of low key luxury. The Lodge is located in close proximity to the Pro Shop, the Cabot Bar and Panorama Restaurant, fanning south to border the putting green.
The 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom Golf Villas at Cabot Links, designed by Omar Gandhi Architect, offer an upscale accommodation option with modern influences and high-end amenities, set against a picturesque backdrop of breathtaking ocean and golf views.

The comfortable sitting area, complete with lounge chair, credenza and a large writing desk, is an ideal place to enjoy the morning paper or tally up the scores from a day on the links.
The modern bathrooms at Cabot are designed with simple luxury in mind. Our walk-in, rainfall showers feature L’Occitane bath products while the stand alone bathtubs and ultra-soft Italian Terry cloth, Terry towels and Terry robes complete the experience, leaving you relaxed, refreshed and re-invigorated.

Our dining room, Panorama, has ocean views unsurpassed in the region, while Cabot Bar is fully stocked with a selection of fine wines and whiskies. The Cabot Public House is a bustling spot featuring casual pub fare and local craft beers. Stop in for a truly Celtic experience.
Located on Central Avenue in the heart of Inverness, the Downstreet Coffee Company features quality coffee, homestyle soups, sandwiches on house baked breads, healthy salads and delectable desserts.
Panorama Restaurant
The definition of Panorama is an unbroken view of an entire surrounding area, and Cabot Links’ premier restaurant lives up to its name with some of the most picturesque dining in all of Cape Breton. A culinary destination in itself, our award-winning chefs incorporate local and seasonal ingredients into evolving menus.
Dinner is served in Panorama from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. Reservations for dinner are preferred.
Cabot Bar
Whether stopping in for a quick post-round snack or staying longer, Cabot Bar will be sure to impress with diverse menu offerings, including locally-caught seafood, fresh salads, pasta, game and more. Our carefully curated list of wine and spirits is among the best in the region.
Cabot Bar is open for breakfast from 6:30AM to 11:00AM and offers an all-day dining menu from 11:00AM to 10:00PM.
The Cabot Public House
Nestled between the Lodge and the main street of Inverness, The Cabot Public House is a bustling spot featuring casual pub fare and local craft beers. The expansive patio and lively local music make a visit to the Public House a must on your trip along the trail.
The Cabot Public House serves pizzas and pub fare from noon until 10:00pm daily. Walk-ins are welcome.
Downstreet Coffee Company
Located on Central Avenue in the heart of Inverness, and featuring quality coffee, homestyle soups, house baked breads, healthy salads and delectable desserts, Downstreet acts as a central gathering place for locals and guests in the heart of downtown. Also to cook at home or offer as a gift, both local and exotic food and health products on offer in our store: The Vault.
